For effective implementation of HIV/AIDS services in each of the partnering institutions, steering and core committees have been formed and Master Trainers have been identified and trained for capacity building within the respective institutions.
The reason for starting the partnerships is to provide adequate training to the medical students. As a result, 1000 doctors will graduate each year sufficiently sensitized to treat and care HIV/AIDS patients. With concerted efforts to broaden the partnership base, The Andhra Pradesh Nursing Home Association( APNHA)will shortly be joining the consortium. |
