Dr Vijay V. Yeldandi Secretary General Dr Vijay Yeldandi is the Program Director of the Resurrection-westlake Internal Medicine Residency Training Program in Meirose Park, Illinois. As an Infectious Diseases Clinician, his major interest has been HIV/AIDS and transplant patients.
He is the founder of Miidri and one of the founding members of MediCiti. Additionally, Dr Yeldandi serves as Chairman of the HIV/AIDS Committee of AAPI. He received numerous awards and recognition for his outstanding work and contributions to HIV/AIDS awareness and education. Some noteworthy awards include: Golden Apple award in 2003, Westlake Hospital, Award for excellence in teaching from Loyola University and Grant Hospital of Chicago, Distinguished Physician Award in 2007 from IAMA of Illinois, Most Distinguished Physician Award in 2005 from the Osmania University Medical Alumni Association of America. Dr Ganesh Oruganti, MD, is a Microbiologist.
He was the founder Director of Department of Laboratory Medicine, MediCiti Hospital, Hyderabad. He continued in this position for over a decade(1997-2007). During this time Dr Ganesh also worked as the Director of Department of transfusion Medicine MediCiti, Chairman - Infection Control Committee, MediCiti and Associate Professor Microbiology, MIMS. Prior to this he was the Director Lab services at AL- Tadaman National Clinic, Riyadh, KSA. He also served under various capacities at Medwin Hospitals, Gandhi Medical College and NIN, Hyderabad.
Dr. Manjunath Dinaker Vice President - Clinical Programs
Dr. Dinaker completed his post graduation from PGI, Chandigarh. He is currently the Director, Department of Internal Medicine and MICU at MediCiti Hospitals, Hyderabad. He is also the Associate Professor of Medicine at MediCiti Institute of Medical Sciences, Ghanpur.
Dr. Jammy Guru Rajesh Associate Project Director
After completing MBBS from Karnataka University and MBA (Health Management) from Institute of Health Management Research, Jaipur, Dr Jammy Rajesh worked as Senior Research Officer & Consultant at Foundation for Research in Health Systems, Bangalore for 2 years where he designed, implemented and documented various research studies / projects and took up consultancy assignments in public health issues like - RCH, HIV/AIDS, TB, Microfinance, costing, training needs assessments etc. Later to that he worked as Program Coordinator (M&E) at Breakthrough, a Delhi based Human Rights organization where in he established and undertook monitoring and evaluation activities for HIV/AIDS gender and rights based program (Mass media and interpersonal communication against stigma faced by Women living with HIV/AIDS).
He was a fellow of Clinical and Leadership in HIV, Government Hospital of Thoracic Medicine (GHTM) Tambaram, Chennai (November 2006-November 2007). This is an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship conducted by I-TECH and CDC in the premises of GHTM.
Dr Jammy Rajesh has been working as Associate Project Director for APAIDSCON since November 2007.
Dr. Ramesh Reddy Senior Programme Manager (Consortium)
After completing his MBBS he worked as a Technical Officer (M&E and Trainings) for the Comprehensive PHC Enhancement Project implemented by the Catholic Health Association of India, Secunderabad. He organized, facilitated and conducted trainings for the nursing staff and the medical officers in A.P. on the clinical management of HIV/AIDS and undertook monitoring and evaluation activities of the project at the state and district levels. He then did his Fellowship in HIV – Clinical and Leadership training at GHTM Tambaram Chennai (November 2006 –November 2007); an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship conducted by I-TECH and CDC. Presently, he is the clinical Consultant for HIV care and senior programme manager for the APAIDSCON. Dr. V. Srinivasan HIV / ART Clinical Consultant
After his MBBS Dr Srinivasan did his Post Graduate Diploma in Respiratory Diseases from Kurnool Medical College. He worked as Tutor in Department of Respiratory Medicine T.B. Sanatorium Madanapalli A.P. from Dec 2003 – June 2004. He also completed Diplomat of National Board Training in Dept. of Respiratory Medicine, J.L.N Hospital & Research Centre, Bhilai (June 2004 - 2006) and HIV &TB Co-infection Management during his DNB course. He then did his Fellowship in HIV – Clinical and Leadership training at GHTM Tambaram Chennai (November 2006 –November 2007); an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship implemented by I-TECH and CDC. He is presently working as a consultant in AP CHEST Ms. Meenakshi Misra Program Officer (Trainings)
Ms. Meenakshi, did her post graduation in Psychology from Lucknow University and is currently pursuing her Ph.D in Psychology from the same University . Previously, she worked as Assistant Director in Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society. She also worked with prestigious organizations like CARE India and Engender Health. Meenakshi has also been a guest faculty at Lucknow University. Mr. Ch.S.Naidu Program Officer (ICTC & Field Activities)
Mr. Ch. S .Naidu, is an MBA in Health Care Services. He has 17 years of field experience in counseling, care support, and supervision of projects. He shares the responsibility of running the ICTC and Peer counselor projects of APAIDSCON. He played an active role in developing network and linkages with medical and social organizations. He was honored with the ‘ Best counselor award' for 3 consecutive years from Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. He is committed and a dependable social worker. Dr. Prashant Vennela Program Coordinator (Consortium)
Dr. Prashant is a dental graduate from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka and did his MBA (Healthcare), from University of Findlay – Ohio, USA. After working for 6 months as an intern with APAIDSCON, he was inducted as Program Coordinator. He is actively involved, in various trainings conducted by the organization, ICTC program, Peer Counsellors Project & RRC programs. Dr.K.Srinivasa Varma Program officer (Clinical & Trainings)
Dr Srinivasa Varma has completed M.B.B.S from Andhra Medical College from 1994 to 2000 and M.D.(Venereal Diseases ) from Osmania Medical college, Hyderabad from 2002- 2006. After that he worked as residential observer and Research Assistant in the Department of Dermatology at St Johns’ Medical College Hospital, Banglore from October 2006 to February 2007. Later he worked as Asst. Professor and ICTC In charge at Maharajah’s Institute of Medical Sciences, Vizianagaram from May 2007 to Oct 2007. He then did his Fellowship in HIV – Clinical and Leadership training at GHTM Tambaram Chennai (November 2007 –November 2008); an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship conducted by I-TECH and CDC.  Dr. Priyakanta completed his under-graduation from VSS Medical College Burla, Jyoti Bihar University, Sambalpur in 2007. He worked as a PHC Medical Officer in the Department of Health & Family Welfare, Orissa. He then did his Fellowship in HIV – Clinical and Leadership training at GHTM Tambaram, Chennai; an intensive, one year-long field-based clinical fellowship conducted jointly by I-TECH and CDC-GAP. After completion of the fellowship, he worked as a Senior Medical Officer and Clinical trainer in KIMS Hospital and Research Centre, Bangalore. Currently, he is working as Program Officer-Clinical Trainings with APAIDSCON, a project of SHARE India. Mr K N S Srinivas Accounts Officer KNS Srinivas has completed his Post Graduation in Commerce from Andhra University in 1990 and completed CA Articles. He completed 12 years of service in TVS Group as an Accounts In-charge and joined APAIDSCON as an Accounts Officer. India. |
